Ever thought about booking a Cheap Cruise?

This article will explain you the entire knowledge of exotic and cheap cruises available today.

There’s always a first time for everything, and finding out how to book a cheap cruise is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – “Ever thought about booking a Cheap Cruise?”

Cruises – once was only available to the rich and famous. Those with plenty of money and a separate tuxedo for every meal sitting, That’s not longer the case, with the introduction of several cruise lines offering cheap cruises.

Now available freely to all, there’s a cruise for everyone. Young, old, couples, families, and singles. Weekend cruises, year long cruises, summer cruises and winter cruises, exotic destinations, cosmopolitan destinations. Family orientated couples or adult only. Relaxed and casual or classic and formal, there’s a cruise to suit everyone’s requirements.

One common myth about cruise ships is that they are extortionately priced whilst onboard. The image of the rich and famous only taking cruise has led people to believe you must have deep pockets to be able to afford a coffee whilst onboard – this isn’t the case! The majority of cruises are fully all inclusive. This includes all meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper and as many snacks or meals in-between as you wish – and all soft drinks. The only things that aren't included are alcoholic beverages.

However a large amount of cruise liners now offer unlimited alcohol for a small fee when booking. Usually worth taking advantage of if you are partial to a small tipple, this can make your cheap cruise even cheaper! What’s more, a large amount of cruise lines now provide every booking with on board credit to spend on whatever you wish. This can be anywhere from £50 to a massive £250!

Cheap cruises offer the perfect insight into cruising for the first timer cruiser. Without paying thousands, you can have an all inclusive cruise around the Mediterranean to see if cruising is for you. Which I’m sure it will be – most people onboard a cruise are first timers or returning customers!

Although cheap cruises are more available, it doesn’t mean they travel to unknown destinations. How does Barcelona or Palma sound? Maybe Rome or Pisa?, or one of the many destinations in the Caribbean? Whilst there are cruises that travel to some of the lesser known destinations, which are fantastic for those who are looking for a bit of excitement and intrigue on their holiday, the majority of cheap cruises travel popular, well known destinations.

When in port at one of the various locations around the world, there are always excursions available. Whether it’s stopping at Naples and viewing Mount Vesuvius or getting a coach into Toulon and seeing the places that inspired Van Gogh, some of the sights are awe inspiring. However, these excursions aren’t included and an additional fee is payable. The excursions aren’t compulsory though, so your cruise can stay a cheap cruise by either walking into the town or simply staying onboard and enjoying the piece and tranquillity.

Cheap cruises are becoming more and more available each year. The number of people cruising is expected to reach over 12 million this year, meaning more cruise lines offering more cruises at more affordable prices, meaning now is the perfect time to enjoy cruising.

Credit to out today’s guest contributor: Rakesh Gaikwad -Cruise1st have a multiple range of cheap cruises available from a numbers of cruise liners including royal Caribbean cruises, island cruises and celebrity cruises. Cruise1st also have all inclusive cruises for those travellers who doesn’t want external surprise payment.

First port for our Royal Caribbean cruise: A Stopover in Labadee, Haiti

The first port for our Royal Caribbean cruise of the western Caribbean was Labadee, Hispaniola which is actually a part of Haiti. This specific port is leased out to Royal Caribbean so only their cruise ships come here. Labadee is actually a peninsula with a few beaches. Getting to land from the cruise ship is by tender.

There’s always a first time for everything, stopping over on a beautiful peninsula with a cruise ship is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "How was the stopover in Labadee, Haiti?”

The first port for our Royal Caribbean cruise of the western Caribbean was Labadee, Hispaniola which is actually a part of Haiti. This specific port is leased out to Royal Caribbean so only their cruise ships come here. Labadee is actually a peninsula with a few beaches. Getting to land from the cruiseship is by tender.

There is a small section for kids with floating fake icebergs to climb and water slides but they charge an admission fee. Flotation mattresses are also available for rent for those who just want to float in the ocean. There are also locals who help with getting beach chairs for you but they expect tips. So things here are a money grabber. The cruiseship did have optional tours for snorkeling, parasailing, wave-runner and kayaking tours but we thought that they were overpriced.

Most passengers just spent the day relaxing around the beaches. The area around Labadee was pleasant enough but the beaches and shores themselves were fairly rocky so wearing sandals in the water would be advised. Royal Caribbean had organized a beach BBQ at an outdoor picnic facility which was okay but nothing special. There is a market there consisting of two buildings.

One is a store where the souveniers and items have marked prices and the other building is like your typical market where locals try to hustle you for business. The locals inside the market were aggressive but polite. If you don't mind haggling, you could get some pretty good deals but if you dislike this type of pushy atmosphere, then you best avoid the market except for the fixed price store.

One big difference between this port compared to others is that since it is pretty well being used as a private beach, you will not be hassled by locals. The vendors coming around with drinks at the beach locations are actually Royal Caribbean staff so if one wishes to buy a drink, the cruiseship pass card is all that is required. As for concerns about being in Haiti given the poverty and political situation, Labadee was not a problem because the entire site is enclosed by a high steel fence. Other passengers later told us that they wandered off near the perimeter of the site and saw many Haitians along the fence begging for handouts and food. The fencing was mostly concealed in the distance from the main tourist areas.

We found Labadee in general to be a bit of a waste of time for us. The beaches were too rocky and we didn't have access to inexpensive activities since everything was run by Royal Caribbean. If one wanted to just go lie on the beach all day and not much else, then Labadee would be a suitable place. For those who want to experience some culture, do water sports without going through the cruiseship, or shop duty free, Labadee would not be the place to go. We decided to stay on board the ship after the BBQ lunch for the rest of the afternoon.

I like Royal Caribbean and would definitely cruise with them again but would not want to go on an itinerary that included Labadee in the future.

Six Best Cruise Ship Safety Tips

Cruises are no longer the exclusive territory of the wealthy and a whole new demographic are experiencing the joy of cruising. Their popularity has made travellers a lot more wary about their health and safety on board cruise ships, but as long as you’re vigilant then there’s no cause for concern. The managing director of cruise travel insurance provider Insure more provides some tips…

There’s always a first time for everything, getting to know cruises are not exclusive territory is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What are the best six cruise ship safety tips?”

With cruises growing more and more popular, people are more concerned about things going wrong on their travels. That many people in one place seems like an ideal opportunity for thieves, and this combined with the risk of needing medical attention at sea can be off-putting. Still, if you pay attention to these cruise travel tips, you needn’t have to rely on your cruise travel insurance to bail you out!

Watch what you eat and drink as unlikely as it would seem, the best way of guaranteeing your health and safety on board a cruise ship is to practice a little moderation. With so many exotic food and drinks available on cruise ships, it’s very easy to go overboard (hopefully not literally!) and gorge yourself on the options available. Firstly, remember that any allergies you had on land apply at sea, so watch out for these. Secondly, the affects of alcohol are that bit more pronounced at sea, thanks to the unsteadiness of the waves making accidents that little bit more likely to occur, as well as lowering your guard making you a big target for thieves.

While the water is almost certainly fine to drink on board ship, a whole different set of rules apply when you reach land – make sure you get bottled water only, and don’t accept ice cubes. Another cruise travel tip worth bearing in mind is that you should keep an eye on the food when you reach land… if the hot Caribbean sun looks like it’s taken its toll on any of the food, be sure to steer clear.

Keep a watchful eye on things

It should go without saying, but you have to keep a careful eye on your surroundings. When on holiday, the aim is of course to relax and unwind, but doing this lowers our awareness of things and it’s very easy to let your guard drop. People on cruises are rich pickings for petty thieves, so keep your guard up and behave as you would if you were in a big city: don’t walk down darkened corridors, don’t accept drinks from strangers and it’s best not to wander the ship alone, especially at night. Practice some vigilance and you should have no problems with cruise ship safety.

Look after you valuables

The best way of ensuring your valuables’ safety on a cruise is to leave them at home in the first place! If you still insist on bringing some luxuries then treat them with care. The safe in your room should be sufficient for replaceable items, but if it’s something that you simply cannot lose then use the ship’s safe – this tends to be a lot more secure than the ‘flimsy’ room ones. And of course it goes without saying that cruise travel insurance is vital, to make sure that your valuables are covered should the worst happen.

Are you feeling lucky?

If you feel like a flutter when on board, feel free to enjoy the gambling facilities available, but remember that the money flying about is more likely than anything else to attract a criminal element. Take your winnings to the ship’s safe periodically to make sure you don’t have too much on you at any one time. If you win big, be sure to request an escort, and don’t make a big deal of it unless you want to turn yourself into a walking cash machine for unscrupulous types.

Keep an eye on the staff

It’s safe to assume that the majority of the ship’s staff are hard working, above board and honest, but don’t tempt fate. Wages on cruise ships can be very low, so keep your valuables locked up and out of sight. Most ships prevent staff socialising with guests, so if you are invited to a crew-only part of the ship it’s best to decline. While the chances are it’s just what it sounds like, it could be a ruse to get you away from the valuables in your room! Keep your guard up and watch for anything suspicious and you should have no problem maintaining your cruise ship safety.

Maintain an unofficial ‘Neighbourhood Watch’

Keep a look out for suspicious behaviour and report anything that seems out of place to the staff – they can decide whether they want to take it further or not, but it’s better to cause a fuss over nothing than to claim on your cruise travel insurance later.

These cruise travel tips may make you worry, but don’t let them. Relax; enjoy your trip – but keep an eye on things, and you should not need to give any further thought to your cruise safety!

Cruise line Holiday: Cheaper than You Thought

There’s always a first time for everything, Cruise ship holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Are cruise holidays actually cheaper?”

When you travel all inclusive, you get the option to pay for everything in advance, which makes enjoying your holiday a much more straightforward affair.

There are so many ways how to enjoy a vacation with your family, friends, or special someone. If you have the budget, you may rent a suite or a vacation house where the magnificence of nature serves as your wallpaper. Dine in at any of the fancy restaurants that you can find on the tourist destination of your choice. And don’t forget, that you should experience the nightlife so that you can truly enjoy the experience that the tourist destination could offer you. But did you know that you can do all of these and more by taking one holiday alone? There is no need to wander around and get lost. If you want to experience the best vacation, try having a cruise holiday instead.

Cruise holidays are actually cheaper than you thought. There is no need to book for an air flight which costs hundreds of dollars. Aside from that, you and your family don’t have to hire a cab or a shuttle just to tour around the area. And with the cruise holidays, you can rest assure that you will be eating the best tasting foods available.

Having a cruise holiday can let you experience the best of land and sea. While the cruising, you can see various places where there are picturesque views. And as you enjoy the sceneries, there are crews who will be giving you complimentary drinks or drinks of your choice and even finger foods to fill your stomach as your eyes are filled with delight with all the views around you.

If you are tired of relaxing with nature, you may also opt to use the facilities of the yacht or luxury ship so that you can have another great time while cruising. Most of the major cruise lines such as Silversea Cruises have facilities such as outdoor swimming pools, game room, family entertainment room, gym, and more. These areas are designed with the passengers in their mind. They do not want you to get bored while on the cruise so there are rooms where you can spend some of your time without getting bored.

But a cruise holiday is not just all about the cruise itself. You also get the chance to go down on different tourist destinations on the way. You will be spending an hour or even a day at these tourist spots. And if by chance you are cruising on a summer destination, you will even get the chance to do some water sports activities such as snorkelling or even diving.

Surely you don’t want to miss the nightlife that you usually have during Fridays or Saturdays. During your holiday cruise, there are also night activities that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Most luxury cruise ships have discos and bars inside. If there are none, your cruise holiday will probably have performances from the crews or locals of the tourist destination where you are heading to. Depending on your demanding schedule, a cruise holiday can last from five days up to a week.

How to Find Cheapest and Best Cruise Deals

There’s always a first time for everything, Cruise ship holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Which cruise line you want to go with?"

Going on an exotic journey is the dream everyone has at some point, and traveling on enchanted cruises to far off places is sure to be a very memorable experience.

For those who have wanted to take a cruise but tight budgets just won't allow it, there are easy ways of finding the cheapest cruise tickets. There are many travel agents out there with great deals for cruises. You can also go directly to the cruise line to see what specials they may be offering.

Sometimes, booking your cruise online can get you a better deal, as many travel agencies try to promote on the internet for travel needs. You can take care of most of your travel needs with just a click of a mouse, making the internet your one stop shop for your vacation. The price you pay depends on what type of cruise you choose.

The next step is deciding which cruise line you want to go with, and there are many to choose from. The most popular cruise lines are: Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess, Costa Cruise Lines, NCL, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Disney Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Silversea, Windstar Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, Uniworld River Cruises, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

You can also decide from luxury cruises, sail ship cruises, river cruises, seniors cruising, golf cruises, and anything from weddings and honeymoons to business incentive and education on vacation can also be found.

The cruise industry is growing all the time. More people are taking to the seas for adventure and relaxation. The nice thing about a cruise ship is that it helps you to slow down and take life more casually, because you aren't racing to get to some destination. Cruising is all about the journey. While the destination may be memorable, even more memories will probably be made on board the ship.

If you're looking for a luxury cruise deal a traditional travel agent may find you a better deal if they can set you up with a group deal. The Cruise agent can book several passengers at once, often getting a "bulk" discount.

You may want to be careful with some of these deals, however, as they may require you to travel as a group and do everything together. And for the hundred or so dollars you may save, you could be relinquishing some personal decision-making in the recreational activities you take part in.

Depending on the type of cruise deal you choose, all-inclusive generally buys you more for your money. These deals supply, as the name implies, everything. Transportation to the port from which you will depart as well as return, all food and beverages during the cruise and entertainment packages while on the vessel.

Depending on how much time you plan to stay in your stateroom, the need for deluxe accommodations should be considered. If you plan to spend the majority of your trip locked in your room, then it may be a good bargain, but the best cruise deal may be found with the smaller rooms you plan to use just for sleeping and storing your belongings.

There are a wide variety of onboard activities to choose from that usually vary from one cruise line to another. This is one of the most important decisions you will have to make, as you want to be sure you will enjoy yourself during your time spent on your trip.

When looking for cheap cruises, you will want to plan your trip with a few extras so you will not be disappointed. It also helps to have a flexible schedule so you can have a better choice of things to do on your cruise.

You will want to travel in the off season to get better values as summer months and holidays tend to raise prices and the good deals go away. This makes it a bit harder if you have children that are of school age as they would have to miss school to go on vacation. During the peak seasons, cruises are usually booked up with regular fares, so chances of getting a good deal then is highly unlikely.

There are many ways to save on your cruise. You just have to do a bit of homework when planning your trip. Many cruise lines will offer a special for families, offering the "children are free" option. This can be an extremely good deal if you have more than one child or if you are traveling with another group that has children.

Check local newspapers as they always show good travel deals and check with travel agencies to see what offers they have available. Don't forget to check the internet for deals as well. Travel websites are always competing with each other for the lowest rates, so you can use that to your advantage.

Tips to Remember for Family Cruises

Some tips are useful and some are essential when planning for family cruises. As well, you should always check that medical service personnel will be available; double-check what kind of documentation is required, and be especially careful if your child or children are crossing borders and only one parent is on the trip. Do not forget to budget for gratuities, as this bit of pre-planning is sure to come in incredibly handy during your trip should you encounter any difficulties.

The two most popular family cruise lines are Disney Cruises line and Carnival Cruise Line.
